The District 202 Board of Education seeks nominees for its 34th Annual Awards of Excellence.
The award honors teachers and non-administrative staff whose work on behalf of students and support of District 202 has been exceptional in some way.
Students, staff, parents, and community members are welcome and encouraged to submit their nominations.

Past nominees and recipients can be nominated again.
Nominations must be received by 5 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2026. This deadline will not be extended.
The Board of Education will host an awards ceremony at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Plainfield North High School, 12005 S. 248th Ave., Plainfield.
A Board of Education committee will review all nominations and select this year’s recipients. The Board of Education has honored more than 500 teachers and staff with Awards of Excellence since the award’s inception.
