Academy Programs
Plainfield Academy is an important part of District 202’s comprehensive educational program. We proudly strive to ensure that every student’s individual educational needs are met, so that all of our students can learn, grow and succeed.
Our school comprises four unique programs:
P-STEP (Post Secondary Transition and Educational Program) serves students between 18-22 years old. The P-STEP student’s instructional program consists of educational, vocational, employment, and daily living skills.
Turnabout is our “in-lieu of expulsion” regular education high school program.
TAP (Therapeutic Academic Program) serves students who are dealing with emotional and social challenges.
Finally, the Plainfield Academy High School and Middle School are our traditional alternative school environments.
